Leann Day

Leann joined Ashley Lay Real Estate in January of 2019 and serves as Director of Growth & Operations.

A former firmware development engineer for General Motors, Leann brings an analytical approach to operations management to ensure your experience with ALRE is efficient, uncomplicated and enjoyable. After moving to NC almost 30 years ago from Indiana, Leann spent several years as a full-time mom, volunteering and working in the North Davidson community. Her kids' love of competitive swimming lead her to a 9 year career at the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina as an administrator, Associate Director or Membership & Fundraising, and finally Director of Operations for the TYDE Swim Team.

Leann holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Purdue University and still does some engineering work with her husband and oldest son in their consulting company, JLD Technology Solutions. Jeff and Leann love traveling, spending time with their adult kids, and they are active members of Pinedale Christian Church.
